What basic information is needed
(traditional tyre recycling facility)?
For BANREC to advise you as a customer in the best possible way, the first step would be to fill in an inquiry form.
As a potential purchaser of a BANREC turnkey facility there are certain critical matters to consider.
It is of paramount importance to be aware of the ELT input:
- What volume is at hand
- What quality are the ELTs (ELTs that have been in landfills for years cannot be used)
- For what period of time
- At what price (gate fee/tipping fee)
- What type of tyres (passenger car, truck, industrial)
Since BANREC technology is based on rather large input volumes, it is very important to have secured a large quantity of ELTs for a long period of time (5-8 years).
Without sufficient ELT input for a longer period of time at the right quality, there is no business case.
The smallest BANREC configuration has a yearly input capacity of 17,000 tonnes of ELTs (approximately 2.5m passenger car tyre equivalents).
BANREC technology is based on large scale production and we firmly believe that it is not possible to produce an output (rubber granulate and powder) with an optimal uniformity and cleanliness with smaller facility sizes.
What basic information is needed
(stand-alone powder and de-vulcanization facility)?
If you do not have access to rubber granulate from a BANREC technology recycling facility it is very important to know the quality of the granulate used for powder and de-vulcanization production.
Thus it is essential to be aware of the following:
- Quality of rubber granulate(require datasheets and sieve curves)
- Supply security
- Price
The BANREC powder and de-vulcanization facility can be purchased as an add-on to the BANREC tyre recycling facility or as a stand-alone facility.
The BANREC powder and de-vulcanization facility has an input capacity of 22,500 tonnes of rubber granulate.
Now is the time to get more specific with regards to local conditions, e.g. the cost of electricity and manpower, gate-fees for the acceptance of ELTs and mapping of the local markets for the output.
A business plan will be simulated by using BANREC’s economic models. This gives an excellent indicator for whether a facility will be profitable on the basis of the assumptions made. If yes, the process can now continue at an even more detailed level.
